Prayer Trainings in 2017

Praying Scripture

God gives us many promises through Scripture to grow and bolster our faith.  But Scripture also gives the Christian a solid foundation when he/she prays.  Learn a variety of ways to pray Scripture in worship, confession, thanksgiving, and in making our requests known to God.

Prayer Evangelism - Prayer as a Gateway to Present the Gospel

“How may I pray for you, or someone you know?”  Prayer, a simple question, a listening ear, a tabbed Bible, and a few highlighted Scripture verses can become the basic ingredients to sharing one’s faith in Jesus Christ.  This training demonstrates an easy way for Christ followers to share their faith using prayer and simple tools.  Learn about a method used around the world to lead many to faith in Jesus Christ, and how you can become an active, prayerful, soul winner, too!

Prayer Begins with Relationship - Praying the Person of God

What comes to our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us, according to A.W. Tozer.  Learn how praying attributes of God can grow your faith, trust, and prayer life.

Inviting the Holy Spirit into Our Prayers - The Holy Spirit’s Role in Prayer

Paul taught that everyone should pray continually (1 Thess. 5:17), however, it’s a steep struggle for most.  Learn the Holy Spirit’s role in our prayer lives, and how He can help us to pray without ceasing!

Praying with your Spouse

Many couples neglect praying together for a variety of reasons.  Yet, couples who begin praying together describe a depth, and richness of joy that floods their marriages, and provides increased intimacy between spouses, and God.  Learn some starting points, plus ways to deepen prayer together.  A cord of three strands is not easily broken (Ecc. 4:12)!

Ways to have Quiet Time with God - Listening Prayer

God is personal, and desires His children to personally know Him, not just know intellectual truths about Him.  Rob demonstrates what 20 minutes of quiet, set-apart, time with God can look like, plus he shares on the importance of listening prayer (being still before God).

How Hell Helps us to Pray

The doctrine of Hell is largely avoided in the modern Church, and its avoidance largely weakens the Christian’s urgency to pray salvation for non-Christian relatives, friends, and people groups worldwide.  This training considers what the Bible says about Hell, and helps renew the urgency of praying for the lost.

Prayer Walking

Jesus taught that we, as Christ followers, should set ourselves apart into a quiet area to pray.  However, prayer wasn’t intended to stop at “Amen.”  Learn how prayer can be carried everywhere, and how you can actively pray wherever you are in society.

Trainings can be offered separately, or can be grouped as a series or prayer conference.  For questions, or to schedule one or more of these trainings for yourself, your family, small group, business, or church, contact Rob at robg@prayonsite.org.  OnSite does not charge a speaking fee, but does accept a free will offering.
